I AM FINALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!!! i cant express how happy i am to finish my final year at Caldwell College. I am not a senior however i am transferring (if everything goes as planned) to Montclair State! it has been a wonderful journey thus far and i have met some marvelous people which i will definately be keeping in contact with. My time here at Caldwell has beenan interesting one, challenging at times but all my hard work has paid off because the grades have only been improving.

When i finished my last final today i was so happy i felt as if i were to cry especially because my teacher gave us back our final papers and i recieved and A on the assignment! That paper i honestly thought would have been the death of me. It had to be 15-20 pages long. I plowed through it and got it done in 20 hours. Im sure you can imagine how tired i was but im just really happy to know my labour was not in vain!!!!! What a great way to end my year. Good bye Caldwell and HELLO SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!111

Spring Formal

Last week was such a great week! The international students performance was amazing, as well as the EOF dinner. I have multiple friends who are graduating this year and i went to support them at their dinner. I nearly got really emotional, one bacuse of their achievements everyone had a 3.5 average or higher and my other friend had the highest everage for all of the four years shes attended Caldwell out of all the EOF students. That made me so proud of my friends to know how hard they worked from beginning to end and its all paying off. On the friday was spring formal. That was a great night! All of my friends and I looked great. i love dressing up and seeing everyone looking great made the night even better. Then the Saturday was Caldwell fest. It wasnt as great as i thought it would be but i credit that to the time i came, because it was close to the end. I finished my night going to my first real fashion show. IT WAS AMAZING!! If everything in life worked the way i wanted it to, i would deffinately pursue a career in fashion i absolutely loved it. My friend was modeling in the show and he did amazing, it was just an amazing night, great atmosphere and a great expirience. It was a great way to finish up my weekend!

So its official i am addicted to buying shoes!!!!!!!!!! i walk into bakers over the weekend and all the staff greeted me by name. I wanted to hide. I ended up buying two pairs of shoes as if i need them! they are absolutely GORGEOUS though! so i don't feel that bad. On another note i am so excited for this week some many things are happening. From spring formal to international stars and my jazz performance I'm really excited. I think I'm getting my hair done this week as well. Always excited for a new style. I hope this week continues to get better and better!

The year is finally winding down. I notice this because the ton load of work that has been piled on me by each of my teachers, as well as the announcement of final dates. Just trying to plow through everything because summer couldn't come sooner for me!
On another note this weekend was great. From Friday all the way till Sunday. On Friday i watched the lucky one by Nicholas Sparkes featuring Zac Efron. I cried all the way through it was absolutely fantastic. I am however glad i didn't believe the reviews that it was better than the notebook because i would have been disappointed. The notebook is a movie i can watch a million and one time and literally have the same raw emotion each time. This movie was a tear jerk-er however if i watched it again i don't think i would cry. ON the Saturday i watched Think like a man and i laughed from beginning to end! It was absolutely hilarious and i learnt alot about men and their games when it comes to relationships and a little bit more about how us women think too. The movie was just brilliant I'm definitely going to buy the act like a lady think like a man book along with everyone else who watched the movie. Finishing my weekend Sunday was just such a relaxing day. I finished all my homework on the Saturday so i got up went to church washed my hair ordered take out and watched movies until i fell asleep while the rain just poured! it was brilliant! and that was my weekend=]

What a wonderful weekend i had. Went home on Friday for the Easter break. I took my friend Albert with me because hes from Ghana because he hasn't been to NY yet so i wanted to show him around. I had my Godson from the day on the Saturday, and oh what and adventure that was! My mother him and I went to kohls to get something for him to wear for Easter Sunday. He ended up throwing his first tantrum with me in front of everybody in the store!. I was so embarrassed!! I honestly was taken back at first because hes never been like this with me before, his normally just a happy child. It was strange, i ended up taking him to the back of the clothes so everyone would stop looking until he calmed down. The tantrum felt like it went on for years, at one point i wanted to sit with him on the floor and cry too. It was as if nothing i did would change his demeanor. After that saga i got him something to eat. as soon as i put him in his car seat and drove off he was asleep. I was relieved.

What a wonderful weekend I had! I went back home (Long Island) to watch my little cousin’s school play. He got the main part in his school play High school musical 2! For me to sit through a musical it has to be really good. This wasn’t the best of musicals but just for the simple fact that my cousin was in it and it was at the middle school level i was impressed and inevitably sat through the play. I was very proud of him he did amazing and so did the rest of the cast. That same day it was my other cousin’s birthday so after the play we went to get some ice cream from Baskin and Robins. (Good stuff ;))

The next day my two younger cousins my mom and I had a girls day. This included shopping, lunch movies and mani pedis. That day was the best day i have had in a while from beginning to end. I left home this weekend feeling really relaxed rejuvenated and ready for this week. Hopefully this week is an amazing week

I have suddenly had my luck turn for the worst. For the last four days i have been sick. It all started with a simple yet painful bite of my tongue. I bit my tongue four days ago and the that was a result of my bite was a cut. That cut turned into a ulcer, then i had an allergic reaction to some fried chicken that had been fried in the same oil as seafood. This all caused my tongue to swell greatly and i couldn't eat. then all of a sudden my bottom right wisdom tooth decided it was time to start growing in. I was in a great intensity of pain. all i could manage to eat was ice cream soup and drink juice. I lost 7lbs in 4 days. When i went home my mother was so scared she thought i had turned anorexic. I'm sure you can tell my mother is very dramatic. However my brother said the same thing. I didn't really see that dramatic of a change because i see myself everyday, but supposedly you could see my collar bones more than usual.All i can say is thank God that's over. Now i appreciate food in a whole different way!

This past week was great. I was on spring break for the week, so a week off of school is always good. I used the first part of my week to gain some hours towards my observations for my education class. It wasn't as rewarding as i would have liked, simply because they were taking tests for the majority of the time. When they weren't taking tests they were going over the tests. The one thing that was interesting in my observations was how different students try and cheat during tests.
For the later part of my vacation i went home. It was great to be home i realized how much i miss being at home when i went back. I really enjoyed myself even though i didn't do much. However Saturday was a big day. I was babysitting my God son, age 1 3/4 for the whole day. This was the first time he has been with me for the whole day without his mom. I took him to see his first movie at the cinema, The Lorax. Surprisingly he sat through the majority of the film. It was a 3D movie but he was not tolerating those glasses. The movie itself was kind of long for children to be honest, so needless to say he started to become restless at the end of the movie. After the movie i took him to eat at friendly's. he had all the waitresses eating out of the palm o his hand, as he tried to sing "twinkle twinkle", the only audible words being "how i wonder what you are". After we ate i took him to the park. That was a big mistake on my part because when it was time to leave the park it was like pulling teeth. He cried all the way from the slide to the car. Honestly broke my heart but it was getting late. Finally i took him to Toys'R'Us, just to spoil him a little bit. Luckily he fell asleep in the car on the way home. His mother was really pleased because he was ready for bed. I love spending time with him.
My cousin earned the lead role in his school play and wants me to  come to the premier this weekend. So hopefully i can go and see my Godson as well.

I think it is definately time for a new hairstyle. I realized that college has effected my life tremendously. I knew it before but as i was thinking about changing my hair again i realized it again. Back when i was in middle school all the way up through highschool each year i ahd so many different hairstyles. I didnt stay with one hairstyle for too long at all. Now that i am in college i have no time whatsoever to worry about changing hairstyles. I do miss having that time though.
On another note i can not wait for this weekend. We are having a suprise birthday party for my dad. I cant wait because my dad has been texting me all week asking me when im coming down because he misses me im sure you can tell im a daddys girl). So its going to b a suprise that im in New York in the first place then again that all his friends are there to celebrate his 45th birthday. CANT WAIT!

Thought provoking question that i read this morning. If you knew i were to die tomorrow what would you say to me today? This question really moved me to make amends with all the people who i have had a falling out with or that i may have hurt. This just made me think how life is just oo short for petty arguments and unforgiveness. Im honestly going to try and remeber this every morrning so that i am able to conduct myself in a way that would seem as if it were my last day on this earth. This just makes me more aware of how i am talking/treating people throughout the day.

On another note. Today was my second week of observations. Im finding these classes taht i am observing in to be very interesting on many different levels. I realize more and more how it is possible for people to hate languages. Some of the classes that i have sat in on are so boring and a drag taht even I am falling asleep mentally. When i began learning spanish i remember it to be on of the most fun classes to attend. This was because the energy of the teacher was high, the cirriculum wasnt just things out of the text book. We did many different activities taht kept everyone in the class interested. Some of the classes were just really boring, i honestly feel sorry for the students. I feel like theyre being cheated out of a good expirience with language.

I AM AN ABOLITIONIST! Im joining a movement called project Stay Gold. This project has been established by a member of my church in order to raise awareness and hopefully abolosh sex trafficking. What really moved me to join this movement was not only the thought of children and people in general being held against the will for the profit of others but because of all the statistics. It is said that during this time period we have the most slaves then we have ever had throughout history. 80% of them are children. When i was told this I automatically thought of the children i work with every summer. To think that someone would steal them out of their homes or away from their parents and use them for sexual activities is revolting and even more disturbing. This project helps and opens avenues for people to rescue theses children. I am so passionate about this cause. Im trying to find other avenues outside of project stay gold to help and be more active in this cause.

Happy Valentines day to all! Today is a great day to share your love with all the people in your life that matter even people that you dont really talk to. Today i received a little note from a friend someone that i didnt expect anything from. This person is my friend but i really didnt expect anything from her just because... i dont know i just didnt. It was a very simple note, on an index card. Just some words thats expressed how she appreciated our friendship. To me that was better than a guyy taking me out buying my roses etc. Only because it was unexpected and truely sincere. I made me cry. (yes i am a cryer) I realize more and more how emotional i am sometimes. :) I think because it was so unexpected it touched me more than if i got somethign from a boyfriend or my parents becasue you know they will get you something. So today i urge you to make someones day special! Do somethign out of teh ordinary for someone who is not expecting it! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! have a great one!

OH NO!!! IM SICK! this is the absolute worst. i hardly ever get sick. The heat in my room gets so hot during the night until my room mate and I are forced to open the window. The draft inevitably caused both my room mate and I to catch a cold. Hopefully this goes away as soon as possible. Ive been in teh house all day so tonight im goign to go out with all my friends and go bowling. I'm thinkning teh fresh air will do me good. i havent been bowling in so long. Hopefully i dont loose. Even though its a friendly game i dont like to loose.

This week is going so fast, but it has ben a great week. Monday was very interesting. I had a great gym session my classes were great then i was dragged in playing soccer at the indoor soccer tournament that the school holds every monday. It was so intense. My team was matched up against five people from the soccer team. We played so hard i literally fainted and all for nothing becasue we still lost. Even though im just strating my health kick i didnt think i was that out of shape. I was shocked because i used to play soccer every day when i was in England, thats our sport. Besides my fainting it was a great game and day. The second game we played we tied which was good. Hopefully the more we play is the better we become as a team. Im excited for next monday!

So last week was meant to be the beginning of my health kick. I started off real well on Monday. I began my day really early and went to the gym for an hour. Starting my day off at the gym spiraled into a whole day of healthy eating and feeling great. Then there was Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday and so on and I just never mustered the strength to go back. I feel as if going to the gym determines whether or not I eat well for that day. So needless to say the rest of the week I ate take out and junk food. Trying again this week, let’s see how it goes. On the brighter side THE GIANTS WON BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayayayayayaayay. That made my weekend=]

Today is the first day that I am writing in my blog.   I expect that you will hear more from me as the semester progresses.    On this blog I hope to give you some insight into my life and my interests.   Please keep posted so that you and I can move along together.
